Meeting Minutes and Regulations

Meeting Rules and Regulations:

  1. Official guild meetings are held at 3:30pm EST on Sundays.
  2. Ops is held by the member of the Inner Chamber running the meeting.
  3. The meeting begins when the Ops holder states so vocally. This means when the Ops holder types "I am calling this meeting to Order", all of the following rules come into effect.
  4. Once called to order, no one except the person holding the floor may speak out loud in the channel. The Ops holder starts out holding the floor and may pass it to anyone he/she desires to. If during a meeting you have an opinion or something to say, whisper the person with the floor with your comment. They will decide to either speak for you or pass you the floor. When you are done pass it back to them. In order to keep orderly and short meeting this is key, do not speak aloud in a meeting unless you have the floor.
  5. Once you become a full member of the guild, you are expected to attend meetings. If you are unable to attend a meeting you must leave a "with regrets" message on the message board stating that you will be unable to attend the meeting and why. This should be done as soon as possible, and before the time when the meeting starts.
  6. Meetings should not be longer then half an hour, and their main purpose is to relay information about current events. Also matters which require a vote of the full guild will be brought up here. From past experience, controversial issues will not be debated during meetings, only conclusions of such issues will be brought up. If there is a concern or complaint it should be directed to the Inner Chamber.
